Enjoy the great outdoors by treating yourself to a smooth, relaxing ride on the scenic Tramway Chairlift. You’ll glide up through the fragrant Ponderosa pines to the prettiest hilltop in the Black Hills. There you’ll find a large and beautiful park area, with waterfalls, walking paths and a special view of Mt. Rushmore across the valley. Also located in the park area is our rustic outdoor café, where sandwiches are grilled to order while you relax in the shade, enjoying the thousands of flowers scattered among the granite rock formations.

Guests may relax in the park area as long as they wish, returning to the chairlift deck when ready to descend. Riding the chairlift back to street level affords a unique view of the town of Keystone below, and also a bird’s eye view of the alpine slide action going on below the chairlift. (Remember: a second option is to ride down the alpine slide rather than chairlifting to the bottom.)
