| Come enjoy a Black Hills’ destination that has it all - no matter what your age, this attraction truly offers a special experience for everyone. Whether you are an adventurous youngster (or just “young at heart”) looking for a thrilling alpine slide ride, or a sightseer looking for a relaxing ride to a beautiful lunch location, this is the place for you. All guests ride the scenic chairlift (video) up to the park area at its summit. There, you can stroll along the flower-lined pathways, view Mt. Rushmore, and enjoy a burger and a beer at our outdoor Grille. The chairlift carries guests smoothly back to street level, or the alpine slide offers a rush of excitement for your return. The Alpine Slide (video) consists of two tracks, each 2000 feet in length, which you descend at your own pace in a wheeled sled that is equipped with a brake. Test your grit and take a speedy slide down, or meander down in a slow and easy fashion - it’s up to you! Whatever form of “fun” you’re looking for, you’ll find it here - and you’ll leave with wonderful memories. |
